Wednesday 26 October will mark two years since the former pirates and Bafana Bafana skipper was murdered at his girlfriend’s home.
Mandla Sindane, who is one of the biggest Orlando Pirates fan, also known as Mgijimi,said that the march will commence at Vosloorus Stadium and go all the way to Vosloorus Police headquarters where the fans will demand some answers about their legend’case.
When speaking to KickOff, Mgijimi said that they are going to question the police about what exactly is happening with Senzo’s case as they have gone quiet about it, and no one is updating them about the case and its investigations.
In full support of the march the Orlando Pirates Chairman Irvin Khoza, also added in Mgijimi’s statement by clearly stating that it is important that closure is brought to the case. He continued to say that what is important to him is not the money instead what is important is that the murder of the late Senzo Meyiwa must be resolved.
“It is important for justice in South Africa, and for the confidence of this country,” said the chairman.
To date just Zanokuhle Mbatha, who was at first arrested for the murder, and was release,d from Custody in November 2014 due to lack of evidence. However it has been reported that police are still investigating.
